It was ok day for my birthday.

Started off going to driver’s license bureau and failed eye exam. Afterwards I had to go dr office to get form filled out showing my vision is 20/40 with lasik. Eye doctor wasn’t there and instead at another office across town. While at officeI dealt with rude staff member. During this whole time I brought cherrypup along with me. Went to other office and doctor was going to arrive till 1 pm. Left form then drove to work to show off the dog. Colleagues really lived her and said how pretty she is for a puppy. I told them “I known”. Got home to put dog in crate then went to lunch at BBQ restaurant with financial advisor. Overall I wasn’t impressed by food one bit and felt overpriced for what you bought.

After lunch I drove back to eye dr office and got to see my optometrist. She looked at my eyes about a mole on retina and skin tag on eye lid plus filled out form. Left office and drove back to bureau to get driver’s license renewed.

Remainder of the day it was me around the house. Walked dog twice around block. Got calls from a nephew, mom, friend, colleagues, middle brother and his wife wishing me Happy Birthday. No call from little brother but he is dealing with a medical issue with his wife.

Overall today had a few lows and some highs. 1) colleagues seeing dog and 2) my optometrist being kick as person during a need. She told me to contact her anytime and keep her status on eyes.

I’m laying on couch and will listen to music plus write.

 

Cool - it was 'All Quiet on the Western Coast'. I had a little interaction with clints and the office, readied my blog for tomorrow - just have to do the schema and send it off, and wrote about half my L.A. blog for Monday (gonna have me some major 'fuck off time' coming on Friday...)

Thoroughly acceptable.

 

It was a normal day.

Started off having training for an hour. Remainder of the day it was business as usual. Walked cherrypup around block and threw tennis ball.

The day was awesome. Weather was fucking fantastic. Finished yard work around the house. Cleaned the windows inside and out. Went to lunch with a friend that's have marriage problems. She's asking the wrong guy. Checked out the perv palace. Now I'm horny again. What else is new... Think I need a full time squeeze at times, then I realize different. I'll be sniffing around here for a while longer. Hope everyone had a great day!

 

It's been pretty good - and by that, I mean mostly 'hum-drum' (which is fine by me). I published my back east blog and completed my L.A. blog for Monday - just have to add a few FAQs tomorrow. I had almost zero interaction with the office, which is cool - depending on who it is - nothing with the CEO, which I generally enjoy.

A fine day.

 

Walked around the park for like, five hours. To be fair, I was reading the Orations of Cicero, so that made time fly by. On top of that, I saw a person from school, which is always a blast! Some boxing, chit-chatting, and work on top of that to fill in the more dull parts of my day. Hope y'all had a nice day as well!

 

Had a new package at post office, the company I ordered my pullets from sent me a dozen ducklings that they said was a thank you gift, little momma is in the bedroom in the A/C working on the last details for the wedding because June will be here soon, and I am killing time until we go to bed.

 

Yesterday was tiring. But I’m looking forward to the long weekend!!!

It's my standard 'no expectations' Thursday - my L.A. blog for Monday is done, anbd started my back east blog for next Wednesday - I'm about 1/3 of the way through it.

I did get involved with a cluster-fuck. The CEO sent me the text of a voice mail he received - we all get these notifications, and it's clear that he didn't listen to the vm. These text messages are imperfect, and will change a company name into something unrecognizable. That was the case, and I ended up in the middle of miscommunications that I knew nothing about. The best I could do is to try and make my company look like we're NOT stupid...

Oh, well - a fine Thursday anyway.

 

Received a letter about the application for the new crop I wanted to plant, I was denied but they said I could re-apply next year. Celia is working on the wedding plans because time is running out, we had a light dinner, just some sandwiches and chips because it was too hot to cook, the newest babies are getting used to their new home but I realized that now we need a pond for them to play in. Overall it was a good day with some bad news but everyday is good, and getting better since I met this amazing woman.

 

It was a slow day. This morning I had training for an hour. Remainder of the day it was business like usual. No lunch like normal.

Left work late then headed home for appt with city employee to review AC unit.

Walked cherrypup around block and grabbed dinner at DQ.

A fabulous day. I engineer Friday to be a major 'fuck off' day, but I still worked. My Monday and Wednesday blogs are 'in the can', so I'm further ahead in my duties than ever.

Late in the day, I did answer a call from a client and got in the middle (for a moment) of an extremely complex issue - one that was caused by an end user at the clients' office (Whew! Glad it wasn't us!)

All told, it's been a happy little Friday.

 

It was a Friday, I did what I do every day. fed the birds, played with Celia, worked in the garden, pattered around the house, and now I am killing time until baby comes her butt to bed.

 

Felt long….. but all i did was drop off a resume buy a pair of boots and then walk the dogs and do a half assed workout…… which was only like 4 hours of stuff but felt like a lot.

 

I’m going to see Guardians of the Galaxy today with the kid, then we are going to go to a greenhouse and start buying flowers for my deck. I am trying to convince him to get a pedicure with me too lol

 

Mowed grass and did some weedeating. Got to finish today

 

Overall it was a normal day for a weekend.

Went to laundry mat and grocery shopping this morning. Later on I drove to GameStop to pick up an item for a game then stopped by deli restaurant to pick up Buy 1 get 1 free sandwich for lunch

Mowed front and back lawn plus walked cherrypup around block.

Just gone cooking Italian sausages, burgers and chicken on grill twice and threw tennis ball.

It's been great - a little busier than I like my Saturdays, but - errands have to be done. I got home, had pork ribs and roasted chicken for lunch and watched one excellent movie and started another.

'Traitor Within' is a Ukrainian movie about the 2014 conflict wth the Russians and local seperatists against the Ukraine. It's a mix of war movie and 'whodunit'. Extremely engaging, excellent cinematography, and great performances. It's about the Russians comitting murderous atrocities against their own Ukranian supporters and blaming Ukranian forces. A fucking great watch.

 

We woke up and I fed the birds, made breakfast, and after we decided to take the truck out for a bit of fun down near the river. It is a sandy area with a few trails that the 4 wheelers used to use so it was a bit narrow but we got it right, on the way back to the house I let Celia drive a bit, she was scared but did a good job driving in a straight line across an empty pasture. Now she is on her laptop in the living room checking the wedding plans because it is only 20 days away and she will go full on bridezilla if anything goes wrong, I am doing this post and thinking about dinner.
